On December 1st, 2023, the Sino Foreign Tire Industry Cooperation and Development Forum was held during the Automechanika Shanghai event in Frankfurt.
Xu Wenying, President of the China Rubber Industry Association, introduced the current development status of the domestic tire industry in 2023 and looked forward to 2024 at the meeting.Xu Wenying stated that benefiting from multiple factors, Chinese tire companies have achieved good performance this year. However, in 2024, China's tire industry still faces challenges such as trade frictions and homogeneous competition.
Ma Qingfeng, Executive Vice General Manager of the Supporting Technology Support Department of Jiatong Tire (China) R&D Center, talked about the new requirements for tire technology in the context of the development of new energy vehicles.
At the end of the event, guests such as Robert Simmons and Xu Xiaojing took the stage together to participate in a roundtable interview.
Guest members include Shi Yifeng, Secretary General of the Tire Branch of the China Rubber Industry Association, Bi Jing, Minister of Sustainable Development of Bridgestone (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and Sun Lihui, Director of the Development Department of the China Minmetals and Chemical Import and Export Chamber of Commerce.
They exchanged and discussed ideas on the distribution of the global tire industry's industrial chain and the development of enterprises.
