After purchasing the tires of your car, the most important thing is to maintain your car's tires during use. Among the various parts of the car, the price of the tire is relatively expensive, so special attention should be paid to the maintenance of the car tire. Pay attention to the following points in tire maintenance:
1. Drive at high speed to maintain the distance between vehicles, avoid unnecessary or frequent braking (brake), reduce damage to the tires, and at the same time, pay attention to the depth of the tire pattern for your own safety. Long moving distance, do not drive at high speed.
2. There is a one-to-one correspondence between the load of the tire and the air pressure. If the load is too high, it is similar to low air pressure, which will cause damage to the tire. Frequently used under overload, the service life of the tire will be reduced by 20%-50%; at the same time, it is wrong. The loading method will also cause uneven tire load, which will affect the life of individual tires when the load is too high.
3. Air pressure is the life of a tire. The inflation pressure of the tire must meet the air pressure specified by the national standards for different types and specifications of tires. Always check the air pressure of the tires. Excessive or insufficient air pressure will cause irregular wear, groove bottom cracks, cord breaks, cord delamination, tire blasting and other damage; if you want to continue driving at high speeds, the air pressure should be increased above the standard air pressure. 5%-10%; At the same time, the internal air will increase due to the temperature increase after the tire is running, and the air cannot be deflated at this time.
4. The tires on the vehicle should be changed timely and appropriately (inspect the tires during the primary and secondary maintenance of the vehicle) to keep the tires evenly worn and extend the service life; tires with a slightly larger outer diameter should be installed on the outer wheels.
5. Do not use retreaded tires on the front wheels; try to use vertical pattern tires for the front wheels, and use horizontal pattern tires for the rear wheels.
6. The tire is worn to the wear mark and must be replaced.
7. In winter, because the temperature is relatively low, tires must be supplemented with air pressure to keep them within the specified air pressure range. At the same time, tires should be checked for scratches, because rubber tires tend to become hard and brittle in autumn and winter. The tires are easy to leak air and even puncture the tires. In addition, it is necessary to frequently clean up the inclusions in the tire tread.
