Mexico Will Not Impose Temporary Anti-dumping Duties On Chinese Passenger Cars & Light Truck Tires

The Mexican investigative agency has just issued a preliminary ruling on Mexico's anti-dumping case against Chinese passenger cars and light truck tires.

Since the industry's non-injury defense organized by the association has had a certain effect, the Mexican investigation agency ruled that the products imported from China did not cause substantial damage to the Mexican domestic industry, but only threatened damage.

Therefore, it decided not to impose temporary anti-dumping duties for the time being (preliminary ruling) It takes about half a year until the final decision is made).

China has 20 working days to submit comments on the preliminary ruling, and the corresponding comment deadline is May 6, 2024.

 

The specific preliminary ruling range is as follows:

 

1. Preliminary dumping margin of sampled enterprises:

1). Shandong Linglong: 18.28% corresponding to US$3.18/item
2). Shandong Changfeng: 7.16% corresponding to US$1.66/item
3). Wanli Tire, Zhengdao Tire, Zhaoqing Junhong, Shandong Haohua: all 32.24%, corresponding to US$6.28/item

 

2. Enterprises not sampled: 21.77%, corresponding to US$4.16/item


3. All other companies: 32.24% corresponding to US$6.28/item
