On February 17, 2022, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat issued an announcement to conduct the first anti-dumping review investigation on agricultural tires originating in China.
The HS code involved is 40117010,40117090,40118090,40119010,40119090.
The case investigation period is 2020.7-2021.6
Questionnaires will be sent to various exporters, manufacturers, importers and other domestic producers, the report said. Interested parties must submit their responses through the electronic information system within 30 days of receiving the questionnaire.
Stakeholders may apply for a hearing within 5 months from the date of initiation of the investigation.
Brazil officially launched an anti-dumping investigation on agricultural tires originating in China on December 21, 2015.
On March 31, 2017, Brazil made a final decision to levy anti-dumping duties of US$307.09-3420.75 per ton on the products involved in China, valid for 5 years.
