What do I need to do to replace solid tires by myself

Dec 01, 2021

When replacing the solid tires of the forklift, there is a danger of being squeezed when the hydraulic jack is dislocated. When using the hydraulic jack to lift the forklift, make sure that the hydraulic jack is stable, and it is forbidden to crawl under the jacked forklift.

Forklift tires have high air pressure and are dangerous.

Do not disassemble, assemble tires, inner tubes, rims, or inflate the forklift tires on the forklift. These all require professional equipment and skills, as well as professionals to receive professional training before they can operate.

Remove the forklift load, park the forklift on a level, firm road, and apply the parking brake system. Place a pad under the forklift tire to be replaced. The forklift must be jacked up at the specified jacking position. When replacing the front tire, it should be under the mast on both sides, and when replacing the rear tire, it should be under the counterweight.

See the forklift top to the forklift solid tires, and still slightly in contact with the ground, put a pad under the frame to prevent it from falling. When replacing the front tires, place a pad on the front side. When replacing the rear tire, place a pad on the rear side.

For forklift tires equipped with split rims, do not loosen the rim connecting bolts. After releasing the pressure, be sure to loosen the hub nut equipped with the split rim. In order to effectively ensure safety, when inflating forklift tires or replacing tires, place your body in front of the tires and do not work on the sides of solid tires. When using an air compressor to adjust the air pressure, adjust the compressor pressure beforehand. Preventing deformation or cracking of the rim is extremely dangerous. When installing and replacing tires, check thoroughly and do not use tires with deformed or cracked rims.
